In our industry, there is a deep-rooted habit that we have long considered obsolete: presenting endless catalogs, mixing dozens of models into a single campaign, and asking enthusiasts to find their way through the background noise. The truth is, when you communicate too many stories at once, you end up telling no story at all. The message gets lost, construction details go unnoticed, and the viewer no longer knows what to desire.

We have decided to break this pattern. Last Thursday, we showed you the 38mm cushion case of the Aquaflex, the solid-color vertical brushed texture, the complex architecture of the 11-link bracelet with a deployant clasp, and the precision of the Swiss Made Ronda 1069 movement. Today, we are not talking about product specifications: we are introducing the new architecture we will use to bring our creations to light.

The DROPS channel is officially live on our website.

The Philosophy: Focusing Desire, Celebrating Substance

The principle behind the DROPS channel is based on the strictest manufacturing discipline: one model at a time, one documented story, one call to action.

Rather than releasing entire lines anonymously, every new archive project or special series will take center stage for a dedicated time window of approximately two weeks. This approach allows us to:

  • Give voice to every single design and case detail, uncovering the historical documentation of the Paul Vermot Collection preserved at the MIH in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

  • Create a direct and transparent relationship with our community, offering our most loyal subscribers a priority access lane.

  • Generate real, tangible scarcity by making limited production batches available before they are released to the general market.

Absolute Parity: Why Our Physical Retail Is a Respected Spectator

A fundamental aspect of this model concerns our relationship with traditional points of sale. For nearly a century, Mondia has lived and thrived thanks to the widespread presence of independent jewelry stores and dealers across the territory. The DROPS channel is not intended to compete with them, nor to create parallel channels that are commercially privileged.

The rules of our DROPS channel are based on complete ethical and distributive parity:

  • No advantage in delivery times: Enthusiasts who reserve their timepiece during the digital drop will not receive the watch before physical retailers. Online order shipments will begin on Monday, October 26th, on the exact same day that supply boxes will be delivered to the storefronts of our authorized dealers.
  • Priority is in allocation, not delivery: The privilege reserved for those who participate in the drop consists of the opportunity to secure their specimen at the official price before it sells out.

How to Access the Drop: The Whitelist Mechanism

From this moment, the DROPS page is visible as a preview at the dedicated address https://mondiaswiss.com/pages/drops. This page cannot be navigated via the site's usual menus and is accessible exclusively via a direct link.

By accessing the page and clicking on the Aquaflex model cards, you will notice that the usual purchase button is inactive: in its place is a registration form: “Sign up for the Drop”.

Being subscribed to our Substack Journal or following the brand's social channels allows you to learn about historical details and the release schedule. However, to ensure fairness and reward collectors who are truly intent on purchasing, it is essential to express your interest by signing up for the specific list for this individual drop. With each new model, we will reset the applications, allowing everyone to choose which allocation to participate in.

The operational steps to register:

  1. Click on the button at the bottom of this article to reach the Aquaflex card in the DROPS section.

  2. Fill out the form with your First Name, Last Name, City, Email Address, and (if you wish to receive an instant, high-delivery-rate notification) your phone number.

  3. On Monday, October 12th, at exactly 12:10 PM, we will close applications and send a private communication (via email and WhatsApp) containing the priority purchase link exclusively to those on this list.

  4. By clicking that personal link, the purchase button will unlock on the product page, and you will be able to complete the reservation of your watch at full price (€ 340 or € 440) until the 10 available pieces per code are exhausted.

Manufacturing discipline demands rigor in forms, transparency in calibers, and clarity in distribution methods. With the DROPS channel, we are opening an author's lane for those who share our value of real-time.

Registration for the priority list is open from today until Sunday, October 11th.
